I have to remind myself a lot when the decision is made on what seems like perfection. And that perfection is causing a rift between the group. Ian hates that I don’t like her. Shane is stuck in the middle of argument after argument. And the new girl? Well, she’s determined to remind me that I’m not fit to be apart of the team. Plus, a case that is more than we bargained for? That darkness is coming for me, and I’m not ready.

When the idea for a new team member to add to their ghost hunting team is pitched, Blair isn’t happy. The new girl is self-absorbed and not afraid to get into a fight. That’s the last thing that Blair needs. Their new case is tough, possibly even dangerous.

Short story, but easy to find yourself immersed in. The characters are all well fleshed out, and the storyline is believable. There’s plenty of drama and suspense to keep you on your toes.

Narration fit the story well.
