Leo and Josh met online by sharing their innermost thoughts and feelings. For this reason, their relationship has always been intense. After years of talking, they finally meet in person and hit it off. When they move in together, they seal their fate when they find themselves up against a mysterious threat. Everyone who goes in the water, leaves changed forever.

This found footage-type horror worked on so many levels. I love the way the author explored the feelings and fear of a close relationship going wrong while also having the spotlight on a very real, very physical horror.

I couldn’t guess what would come next. The ending was beautiful for this exact reason. I was left guessing until that final page.

Unsettling and unpredictable, We Met in the Forums is one wild ride.
