When Megan’s car breaks down seemingly in the middle of nowhere, she’s grateful for the help of the Brogan Clan. But all is not as it seems, and their generosity may be hiding something sinister.

I don’t normally read the summary of a book before I dive into it, but I did on this one. The summary gave Hills Have Eyes vibes. What I found inside was so much more than that. It was an emotional rollercoaster studded with so much tension and heartbreak.

The book ended with a cliffhanger that I’m hoping will evolve into a sequel because I can’t wait to see how Kenny further develops Megan’s character. She’s already gone through so much!
