After the death of her mother, Maeve finds herself going to Shady Grove to get to the bottom of it. But Shady Grove has a history of missing women. How far down the road of the occult will Maeve be willing to go to find out the truth? Will she get the answers she seeks or will she succumb to the same thing that claimed her mother and countless other women?

The prologue instantly hooked me. It was creepy and dark. I loved most of the characters and thought they had some fun banter. Miss Fischer’s writing style was smooth, and it was easy to lose myself in the story.

This was a fun debut that combines occult, family secrets, and dark magic in a way that will leave you excited to see what the author comes up with next!
